16th June | Online Conference Asian Clean Energy Forum

On June 16, Katrin Lammers, researcher in the unit Off-Grid Systems at RLI will participate as an expert in a panel discussion at the Asian Clean Energy Forum 2022 (ACEF 2022) online conference. The panel is dedicated to the topic of embedding climate resilience and adaptation strategies in energy systems. It will take place virtually on Thursday June 16 between 10am and 12:30pm, Manila local time (GMT +8).

The speakers and panelists in this session will talk about a micro-grid concept that proved resilient over several years after a severe typhoon in the Philippines, the performance of battery storage systems, the performance of a new technology for heat exchangers at a chicken farm in Vietnam, on assessing climate risk and resilience through macroeconomic modeling, on the role of fintech solutions in promoting carbon neutrality in Indian MSMEs and on climate resilient energy systems for Southeast Asian island communities.

ACEF 2022 brings together the Asian clean energy community to share and explore – for the 17th time since its inception in 2006 – proven and new ideas for accelerating the low-carbon energy transition in Asia and the Pacific.
