May 22 – 23 | Berlin
RLI Managing Director Kathrin Goldammer and Caroline Möller, researcher in the research unit Off-Grid Systems at RLI, will participate in various panel discussions at this year’s Berlin Energy Days. The event on the energy transition will take place from May 22 to 23 in Berlin. From May 3 to 5, there was already a digital kick-off of the nationwide relevant event.
At the face-to-face event on May 22, Kathrin will lead a Panel discussion of the Berlin Climate Protection Council on the topic “Energy Crisis, Ukraine war, climate change – a turning point for Berlin’s energy and climate protection policy?!”. Kathrin is a spokesperson for the Climate Protection Council.
Caroline will participate on May 23 in the „Next & New: Update Climate Communication” with four other experts. The participants will talk about the social and cultural factors that are stalling the energy transition and how innovative and inspiring approaches in communication could help to overcome these obstacles. Caroline will also give a keynote presentation on the topic of visualization tools for the energy transition.
Each year, the Energy Days bring together more than 500 speakers. Around 100 events, conferences and workshops will take place, organized by different institutions from the energy, construction, housing, climate protection and environment sectors.
The co-organizers of the Energy Days include several federal ministries, numerous umbrella, federal and environmental associations from relevant sectors, energy service providers, scientific and public institutions that play a key role in the discourse on the energy turnaround and climate protection in Germany.
The Energy Days are aimed at interested parties who want to participate in the energy transition. Workshops and lectures are free of charge, a registration must, however, take place in advance.
