19. March 2026, Berlin
Juliane Arriens, Head of Unit of the Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energies, together with Romy Sommer, project assistant at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences and the ReEnAct project will design a workshop entitled “More than Having a Say: How Participation Formats and Visualization Tools Promote Dialogue and Acceptance in the Energy Transition” at the BEWEGT Conference. In the workshop, the two will report on the ReEnAct project, in which RLI and project partners are developing participation methods to plan energy transition measures in rural areas.
The two-day conference takes place as part of the funding priority “Energy Transition & Society” and is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).
The researchers of the 40 ongoing projects of the funding priority come together for the exchange of content, networking and further development of research. The aim of the event is to make the projects of the funding priority visible in politics and society in order to advance the energy transition.
