Catherina Cader, Head of the RLI Research Unit Off-Grid Systems, represents the RLI at the CoNDyNet2 conference “Complexity in Power Grids – From Science to Practice”. Catherina will give a presentation on “Optimization and Economics of Power Grids” followed by a discussion.
The conference brings together about 50 scientists inside and outside the CoNDyNet network, as well as representatives of different industries for three days. The aim of the event is to discuss current research results of collective phenomena in current and future power grids and the decarbonization of the power sector, to further expand collaborations and to jointly formulate future research challenges.
The conference is organized by CoNDyNet, an interdisciplinary group of scientists working on the decarbonization of the power sector, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
