2019-10-08 14:10:58
Brussels | The RLI supports the organization of this year’s Energy Modeling Platform for Europe conference (EMP-E 2019) at the European Commission in Brussels. The main organizer this year is the project MEDEAS.
Launched in 2017 as an annual series at the suggestion of the Horizon 2020 Advisory Group on Energy, the EMP-E is a European discussion platform for energy system modeling. The first conference in 2017 focused on the topics of energy union, energy transition, transparency and the definition of scenarios. The 2018 conference focused on the integration of innovation, behavioral aspects as well as energy and resource efficiency into energy system modeling. This year’s focus is on modeling the implementation of climate targets.
The conference will take place at the European Commission in Brussels. Mascha Richter, Sabine Haas, Sarah Berendes and Ludwig Hülk will participate in the RLI and present content from various research projects.
Further information on the conference can be found on the EMP-E website.
