eMO Mobility After-Lunch

25. September 2025, Online

Jakob Wegner and Raoul Hirschberg, both researchers in the Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy, will be guests at the Mobility After Lunch event organized by the Berlin Agency for Electromobility (eMO).

Raoul and Jakob will give a presentation on the central question of “Where should charging take place?” based on the Retail4Multi-Use project. In this project, the participating scientists are investigating how retail spaces can contribute to the development of charging infrastructure in private and public spaces as locations for charging stations.

Among other things, Raoul and Jakob will highlight the opportunities offered by the multiple use of charging infrastructure at retail locations, how charging infrastructure at retail outlets can be better utilized in the future, and how the utilization of charging points can be increased.
