Tokyo | For the tenth time this year the German-Japanese Dialogue Forum for Environment and Energy will take place, which acts as a platform for the information exchange between experts from industry, science and politics in both countries on current environmental and energy issues.

Kathrin Goldammer, Managing Director of RLI, will chair the panel “Environmental impact assessment of Renewable Energy and social acceptance” on 29 October. In addition, she will speak at the panel “Role of Hydrogen for decarbonisation of the energy supply and sector-coupling” on the role of hydrogen in the decarbonisation of the energy system and will participate in the final panel discussion on the role of hydrogen in the future energy system in Germany and Japan.

Kathrin is particularly looking forward to participating in the Dialogue Forum for Environment and Energy in Tokyo, as she spent several months researching in Japan as part of her doctoral thesis in 2006.

The event is open to the public and is supported by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) and the Japanese Organisation for New Energy and Industrial Technology Development (NEDO).
