International Conference on Solar Technologies & Hybrid Mini Grids to improve energy access

Philipp Blechinger, Head of the Off-Grid Systems Research Unit at RLI, will give a presentation at the “International Conference on Solar Technologies & Hybrid Mini Grids to improve energy access” in Palma de Mallorca. The talk deals with the reduction of transaction costs in mini grid projects through the use of remote data and GIS.

In addition to the presentations, there will be a poster exhibition at the conference where Philipp presents the poster of RLI PhD candidate Paul Bertheau “Analysis of the Mini-grid Potential for the small Island Landscape of the Philippines”.

The “International Conference on Solar Technologies & Hybrid Mini Grids to improve energy access” takes place at the Universitat de les illes Balears and wants to bring together experts from science, industry, and development institutions from the field of decentralized energy.
