September 23th to 25th 2016 | Berlin

RLI managing director Kathrin Goldammer will join the Science Hack Day Berlin 2016 as a judge for the “Most sustainable hack”.

Science Hack Day Berlin is a 48-hour-all-night event that brings together designers, developers, scientists and other “geeks” for a brief but intense period of collaboration, hacking, and creating new “hacks”. A “hack” is a quick solution to a problem – maybe not the most elegant solution, but often the cleverest. This can be software or hardware, for instance.

Hack Days were originally created by Yahoo in 2005 and soon became a worldwide trend. There are specific Science Hack Days (SHDs) since 2010. More than 30 of these grassroots projects have been run since then.

Registration for #SHDB16 is possible here.
