November 25th – December 6th 2017 | Southeast Asia
RLI is going on a journey for renewable energy. During a ten-day-trip, four RLI researchers will visit Bangkok, Singapore, and Jakarta together with partners from different sectors. In each city, they will host a so called “Travelling Conference”. These are one- or two-day workshops in cooperation with local partner institutions, where the need for research and collaborative potential in renewable energy research in the area will be identified and discussed.
The “Travelling Conferences” belong to a series of events funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, in which German experts and early-career researchers in other countries present current research topics. These events are meant to provide platforms for the development of international cooperation.
