Kathrin Goldammer about Prosumer models at BELEC 2016
October 13th 2016 – RLI managing director Kathrin Goldammer has participated in the “Berlin Conference on Energy and Electricity Economics” (BELEC), hosted by the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin)as a keynote speaker. Kathrin talked about business models for renewable energies and storage as well as about the history of the German energy market.
She focused on the question if there already is a Prosumer market in Germany, where consumers of energy are at the same time producers, and which regulatory policies would be required for a Prosumer system. She illustrated her points with findings and experience from the RLI research project Smart Power Flow.
