Kathrin Goldammer is a member of the jury for Berlin solar projects
March 30, 2021 | RLI Managing Director Kathrin Goldammer is a member of the four-person jury of a competition within the framework of the “Masterplan Solarcity”, which is awarded by the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy, and Industry. Here, outstanding Berlin solar projects are awarded two prizes.
The aim of the competitions is to award innovative and outstanding solar solutions in terms of design as well as special commitment and thus to stimulate the future implementation of solar projects. Therefore, both an architecture award for buildings with solar installations and an award for solar city initiatives will be presented, divided into three categories: Innovative Applications, Engagement, and Outreach. Both competitions take place as part of the Solarcity Master Plan, which was adopted by the Berlin Senate on March 10, 2020.
Kathrin is part of the jury for the Solarcity Initiatives Award. Other members of the jury are Patrick Graichen, Managing Director Agora Energiewende, Andrea Hötzeldt, Head of Coordination Office Masterplan Solarcity of the Senate Department for Economy, Energy and Operations Berlin and Kerstin Maria Rippel, Head of Communication & Policy and authorized signatory at 50Hertz Transmission GmbH.
Berlin solar projects can apply for the Architecture and Solarcity Initiative Award until April 30, 2021. The prize money is up to 1,000 euros. The awards will be presented ceremonially at the Masterplan Solarcity Conference on June 15, 2021.
