About 1,000 development submits after the last release, the new version v0.3.0 of the modeling framework oemof (Open Energy Modeling Framework) is available. Key changes include improved reliability, re-designed storage, improved loop capabilities, and improved documentation. Further details on the new version of oemof are available on the project website.
oemof is a tool for modeling and analyzing energy systems. It is an open-source licensed software, which is modular and flexible, so it can be put together according to your own wishes. This makes it suitable for use in cross-sectoral studies.
All energy system researchers are invited to use oemof and contribute to the further development of oemof!
