Norman Pieniak wins Energieforen Award
March 3 2021 | Norman Pieniak, Head of the RLI Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy has won the Award of the consulting company Energieforen Leipzig in the category “Most active science partner – particularly practice-oriented commitment to our members”. Norman accepted the award during the virtual 10th annual congress “Energy Market of the Future” on behalf of the entire RLI. At the congress, Oliver Arnhold and Jakob Gemassmer also chaired a specialist forum titled “Electromobility vs. power grids: a relationship with hurdles”, where the two discussed the intelligent grid integration of electromobility using the example of the electric delivery fleet of Deutsche Post DHL Group.
RLI has already been working regularly with Energieforen Leipzig GmbH since 2017 and is active in the User Group Mobility as needed. RLI experts regularly provide scientific input and present new studies or research projects. Energieforen are also one of eight partners in the RLI-led BEST project, which is creating a blockchain-based decentralized energy market design.
The award is intended to highlight the special collaboration between the members of the network, which is characterized by its richness of perspectives, among other things. The RLI warmly congratulates Norman on winning the EFL award and thanks Energieforen Leipzig GmbH for this honor.
