Personal Information
Moritz Schiel has been a researcher in the Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy at RLI since April 2022. Before he has been a student assistant in the same unit since March 2021. Moritz has a master’s degree in Renewable Energies from HTW Berlin.
His main field of research is the electrification of public transport bus fleets with an emphasis on the energy supply, the use of renewable energies and grid integration. The methodologies used focus on the development and application of open-source modelling and simulation software.
