Second Forum E-Mobility in Brandenburg

December 1^st 2016 – Alexander Wanitschke, Oliver Arnhold, and Raoul Hirschberg from the RLI Research Field Mobility with Renewable Energy, have presented first intermediate result from the PIOnEER project on December 1^st in Potsdam. At the Second Future Forum on E-Mobility in Brandenburg (Zweites Zukunftsforum „E-mobiles Brandenburg – erneuerbar elektrisch“) hosted by the Brandenburg Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, more than 100 experts discussed the current development status of e-mobility in Brandenburg and presented their research and investment projects.

In the PIOnEER project, the RLI analyzes which regions in Brandenburg offer the highest potential for e-mobility in combination with a Micro Smart Grid (MSG). Oliver reported on the first project phase in which the RLI invited companies and regional bodies to apply for the feasibility study. This call received a very positive feedback, allowing the RLI to enter the second phase of the project in which we will evaluate the potential of these possible MSG sites.
