December 9, 2022 | Online

Kathrin Goldammer, Executive Director of RLI and member of the German-Japanese Energy Transition Council (GJETC), will participate in a panel discussion of the GJETC on December 9.

The panel discussion is part of an event that will first shed light on the outcomes of the World Climate Change Conference 2022. It will also discuss ways Germany and Japan can work together on energy policy to promote and accelerate international efforts.

Kathrin will appear at the panel discussion as a council member of the GJETC and also as a representative of Reiner Lemoine Institute. The question of the debate is: How can the cooperation between Japan and Germany, contribute to the acceleration of international efforts, for climate protection and energy transition?

The GJETC was established in 2016. Its mission is to conduct strategic and systemic analyses. These then serve as the basis for policy advice that identifies new and long-term perspectives for the energy transition in Japan and Germany.
