Theme Night: Women in the energy sector – What can be done to achieve a better visibility?

May 3rd 2017 | 6 p. m.
Ludwig Erhard Haus

RLI Managing Director Kathrin Goldammer participates in a panel discussion about women in the energy sector. As in most sectors, women are very much underrepresented on higher management levels of energy businesses, associations, and NGOs, also, there are less entrepreneurs. What can be done to change this? What can we expect from policy makers? What kind of corporate culture, business models, and working hours are fit to promote women in energy and are compatible with families’ needs?

May 4th 2017 | 5:30 p. m.

How can the sectors housing, mobility, and energy be interlinked in a way that makes sense? This question will be discussed by the examples of several exemplary projects from newly developed housing areas. Participants will later discuss these in a workshop and come up with suggestions for speedy implementation of new ideas. The whole event is co-chaired by RLI Managing Director  Kathrin Goldammer and Frank Christian Hinrichs, Managing Director of inno2grid GmbH.

RLI will also inform visitors about the results of the PIOnEER project at the event.
