Virtual Conference

Martha Hoffmann, researcher at the RLI Research Unit Off-Grid Systems, will represent the institute at the virtual conference “Energy Modelling Platform for Europe 2021” (EMP-E 2021). The EMP-E brings together scientists and policy makers working on current energy modeling and energy policy issues, looking at the current and future opportunities for change.

Martha, along with Sergio Herriaz from the University of Girona, will hold a presentation titled “Facilitating local multi-vector energy systems: Integrated investment and operational planning”. The presentation is based on lessons learned from the E-LAND project, in which RLI is working with 13 project partners to develop a toolbox for low-carbon and climate-resistant transition of energy systems, which considers technical, social and economic aspects equally.

The conference is taking place for the fifth time this year and is organized by the EU-project SENTINEL.
