2026 Annual Conference of the Energy System Analysis Research Network
28. April 2026, Berlin
The RLI will be represented by many researchers at the annual meeting of the Energy System Analysis Research Network: Kathrin Goldammer, RLI Managing Director; Ilka Cußmann and Mascha Richter, heads of the RLI Research Units Transformation of Energysystems; and researcher Jonathan Amme, Ludwig Hülk, Caroline Möller, and Moritz Schlösser will be attending the conference.
The RLI experts will lead various workshops. Kathrin and Ludwig will, together with other speakers, present on the topic of data and resilience in power grids. Ludwig will also conduct another workshop on data management in municipal heat planning. Mascha will speak with another expert about the resilience of energy cells from a systems analysis perspective. Ilka, together with other experts, will lead a workshop on open-source tools used for cross-sector power grid planning, including the eGo and eDisGo tools. Caroline and other experts will discuss open energy system analysis for CO₂-neutral neighborhoods using the open-plan-tools as an example.
The Energy System Analysis Research Network holds an annual conference in Berlin. This conference serves as a platform for exchange aimed at developing joint strategies and concepts to improve modeling tools, data transparency, and the comparison of models and scenarios. It also provides a forum for discussing how the results of systems analysis research can be translated into practical applications in industry and policy. The annual conference is organized by Projektträger Jülich (PtJ) on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).
