BMDV Electromobility Conference 2023

From March 21. to 22., scientists from the research unit Mobility with Renewable Energies at RLI, will participate and give a presentation at the Electromobility Conference of the German Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport (BMDV) in Hamburg. The conference is one of the largest of its kind on battery electric mobility in Germany. Its focus is on the local and regional expansion of electric mobility.

Alexander Windt, research associate, and Norman Pieniak, head of the research unit Mobility with Renewable Energies, will present the Retail4Multi-Use project at the conference. In it, they are investigating strategies for the multi-use of charging infrastructure in retail. Norman and Alexander will present the project on March 21., starting at 5 p.m. in the “Track Transport and Economy” block.

The two-day conference program is aimed at professionals from municipalities, industry, academia and politics. It combines lectures, pitches, discussion rounds and workshops. In the end of this event, interested parties can take part in one of five excursions, for example to the e-mobile port, an HHLA terminal in Altenwerder, or the e-mobile bus depot of Hamburger Hochbahn in Alsterdorf.

Participation in the event is free of charge. Online participation is also possible and does not require registration in advance. The event is being organized by Now-GmbH.
