December 07. – 09. 2022 | Berlin
Anya Heider, a fellow at the Graduate School of the Reiner Lemoine Foundation at RLI, will participate in the conference “Future WiNS: New Energies for a Sustainable World” in December. “Future WiNS,” Women in Natural Sciences, is an interdisciplinary event designed to bring together a community of natural scientists to discuss current challenges in energy research and viable strategies for sustainable solutions.
During a two-day workshop, researchers and young scientists from national and international research institutions will present their topics. Anya will use this opportunity to talk about the results of a study conducted by the Reiner Lemoine Institute in cooperation with ETH Zurich. It is about the flexibility requirements in a 100% renewable, German power system with growing shares of sector coupling technologies.
The conference is organized by the organization “WiNS Adlershof”. Their aim is to offer scientists a forum for mutual exchange of experiences and networking through regular events. Within the framework of “Future WiNS”, the winners of the WiNS research grants 2022 will also be celebrated.
The event will be held in English and is open to all interested parties. There is no cost for admission.
