September 5th – 7th 2018 | Garching
Jann Launer , researcher in the RLI Research Field Transformation of Energy Systems, represents the institute at this year’s EnviroInfo. Along with Jochen Wittmann , Professor of Environmental Informatics at the HTW Berlin, he organizes the panel “Open Data and Models – Dealing with Uncertainty”, which takes place on the first conference day. In this context, he will give a presentation on uncertainties in energy system analyzes, focusing on the uncertainties that arise and the methods with which modeling can address limited knowledge.
The annual conference will take place at the Leibniz Supercomputer Center in Garching near Munich and is an established platform for computer science and environmental computer science. For more information about EnviroInfo, please visit the conference website.
