May 24. – 26., 2023 | Stuttgart

This year’s Oemof user meeting will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, on May 24-26. Oemof is an open source tool for modeling and analyzing different energy systems. Scientists at the RLI developed it together with other partner organizations.

At the meeting, RLI scientists such as Sarah Berendes and other experts from the field of energy system modeling will discuss the various applications of Oemof. The event is aimed at people who are already using or developing the software, as well as new users.

Participants will give talks and present posters. These presentations will also help identify common interests for the hands-on sessions and breakout groups on subsequent days. A detailed agenda is currently being developed at Meeting 2023.05.

To register, interested parties can email meetings@oemof.org. The organizers ask that you include your name and – if applicable – your institution. In addition, the GitHub username is important and the information whether participants want to present something.

The event will take place at the DLR lecture hall at Pfaffenwaldring 38-40 in Stuttgart and at STEP 4 (Curiestraße 4). There is no cost for registration, but you will have to pay for your own meals.
