Catherina Cader and Paul Bertheau, PhD students in the RLI Research Field Off-Grid Systems have successfully applied for participation at the first UNLEASH Innovation Lab in Copenhagen. At the event, the two will present their work on worldwide sustainable energy supply in front of about 1,000 other international “SDG Talents” who have been selected for the Lab.

The UNLEASH Lab is based on the initiative of numerous research institutes, foundations, companies, and the United Nations and aims to create a platform in order to reach the “Sustainable Development Goals” (Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs). The call is addressed to young experts in research, business, and civil society. Together, this group is to collect international perspectives and to develop new ideas on how the SDGs can be attained.
