Martha Hoffmann, researcher in the RLI Research Unit Off-Grid Systems, will speak on the potential of hydrogen as a technology of the future in context of the “Technial Event: Use of Green Hydrogen for Off-Grid Power Supply in Island and Smaller Power Grids” organized by the German Chamber of Commerce in Chile. She will present the simulation results from the Hydrogen storage potential study for mini-grids in Chile. The study examined the use of green hydrogen to replace existing diesel power supply for three exemplified mini-grids in Chile.

The technical event is organized by the German Chamber of Foreign Trade (AHK) Chile. The webinar is aimed at Chilean representatives from industry, associations, government and research who are involved in the hydrogen industry.
