28th September | Berlin

Friederike Reisch, researcher in the team Mobility with Renewable Energy at RLI, will participate at the Fraunhofer Symposium on the Digitization of the Energy Transition on September 28 and will speak about digitalization in sector coupling. The two-day event is organized by Fraunhofer ENIQ and addresses politicians, associations and interested representatives of the energy industry.

Together with Stefan Klaiber from Fraunhofer IOSB-AST and Patrick Hochloff from E.ON, Friederike will participate in Session V on digitalized sector coupling on the second day. Each session consists of three presentations followed by a joint discussion round.

Apart from the sessions on the various sectors in which digitization will play a role, a panel discussion, interactive workshops and keynotes from politics and business are planned. In addition, the Fraunhofer Institute will present a study with political recommendations for action on the digitization of the energy transition. The five topics covered in this study will also be reflected in the five sessions at the event.
