Conference ABM4Energy
2024-03-21 14:32:02
March 21th – 22th, 2024 | Freiburg im Breisgau
Jan Timo Meyer, researcher in the Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy at RLI, will give a presentation at the conference “ABM4Energy” (Agent-Based Modeling for Energy Economics and Energy Policy) in Freiburg.
On the second conference day, Timo will present how scientists at RLI are using the agent-based open source simulation tool “simply” to investigate the impact of future electricity and grid tariff designs on grid utilization.
With an agent-based simulation, the system behavior (macro level) to be investigated results from the interaction of many individual agents (micro level), which make individual decisions to act within certain framework conditions.
The ABM4Energy conference on agent-based modeling for energy economics and policy provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to present their latest findings. In addition to research presentations, there will be special workshops and the opportunity to exchange knowledge and network.
