May 15th-17th 2019 | Oldenburg

Jann Launer, Birgit Schachler and Okan Akca, all working in the RLI Research Unit Transformation of Energy Systems, and Martha Hoffman, working in the RLI Off-Grid Systems Unit, will represent the institute at the upcoming oemof developer and user meeting. The meeting is the most important working meeting of the oemof community.

The meeting is a forum in which developers who use oemof exchange ideas and expertise about the tool and work together on further development.

Among other things, projects in which oemof is used will be presented at the meeting.

The Open Energy Modeling Framework (oemof) is a modeling tool used to analyze different energy systems. The open-source-licensed software was significantly co-developed by RLI. It is designed to be modular and adaptable so that it can be assembled according to individual requirements. Accordingly, it is well suited for cross-sector studies.
