Online seminar
On April 5, 2022, Oliver Arnhold, Head of Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy at Reiner Lemoine Institute (RLI), will present the planning tool Localiser as part of a web seminar. With the event “Management of grid connection requests in the field of charging infrastructure. Best Practice – Impulses for optimizing your daily business”, the Verband Kommunaler Unternehmen (VKU) focuses on the topic of mobility transition and charging infrastructure needs. Localiser is a software company for the automated construction of charging infrastructure for electromobility. It is a spin-off of RLI.
With the study “Charging infrastructure after 2025/2030 – Scenarios for market ramp-up”, in 2020 the RLI showed that the demand for publicly accessible charging infrastructure in 2030 is 440,000 to 843,000 charging points in Germany. Also, given rising sales of e-cars, the need for charging infrastructure will grow in the coming years, especially for fast-charging hubs and in the private sector. For heavy commercial vehicles, there is also increasing pressure to act in order to set the course for a ramp-up of electromobility.
This seminar is aimed at board members and managing directors, specialists and managers from the areas of network planning, electromobility, charging infrastructure and network expansion of distribution network operators. Participants will learn how to design their projects in a demand-oriented, efficient and future-proof manner, they will get to know the requirements of charging point operators, they will receive impulses for improved customer communication and will be presented with information sources and a planning tool.
