Smart Mobility Forum: From Sharing to Caring
2019-12-05 13:03:19
Berlin | The mobility and the energy transition should be thought of as one, but why is it so difficult for fully integrated concepts to achieve breakthrough success? What can charging infrastructure approaches for large vehicles look like? Can high loads be steered in a controllable manner and in accordance with usage profiles in order to stabilize the electricity grid strained by the volatile supply of renewable energy?
These and other key questions and topics will be discussed on 5 December 2019 at the “Smart Mobility Forum #11: From Sharing to Caring – Energy Supply in Line with Needs” in order to exchange new solutions, approaches and concepts towards a successful integration of the energy sectors and mobility.
Norman Pieniak and Jakob Gemassmer from the RLI Research Field Mobility with Renewable Energy will represent the institute at the event and present the topic “Intelligent Grid Integration of Electrified Logistics” on the podium.
The event will be jointly organized by the Berlin Agency for Electromobility eMO in the context of the Berlin-Brandenburg Cluster Transport, Mobility, Logistics and Energy Technology as well as in cooperation with the project WindNODE (funding program SINTEG of the BMWi). The Smart Mobility Forum contributes to the implementation of Berlin’s Smart City strategy in the mobility sector.
