Jakob Gemassmer has been a student assistant in the research field Mobility with Renewable Energy at RLI since October 2017. He is enrolled in the master's degree program Renewable Energy Systems at Technical University Berlin. In context of his work for the project ecoPtG, he is writing a thesis analyzing the influence of emission-free trucks on the energy system of Germany as well as on particular charging points. He supports the project ecoPtG by adding a simulation of hydrogen infrastructure and developing suitable operation strategies.

Jakob holds a bachelor’s degree in Energy and Process Engineering from TU Berlin. His bachelor’s thesis focused on the influence of shade on photovoltaic systems.
