Knowledge Sharing
Reiner Lemoine Institute is a non-profit and independent research institute for renewable energy. In addition to our scientific work, which is largely publicly funded, we also support the transformation of energy systems through individual project commissions and studies for businesses, policy makers, local actors, and civil groups.
We offer the following cooperation possibilities:
Workshops
We offer energy system transformation workshops for municipalities and regions. Here, regional planning tools can be tested, wishes of stakeholders can be developed, and local conditions and peculiarities can be discussed.
Consulting services
Thanks to our almost ten years of work in the field of renewable energy, we have unique technical expertise at our disposal and can optimally apply current studies and analyses for third parties.
Studies
We create studies to solve concrete problems, but also overview studies that reflect the state of research on a specific question. In addition, we can evaluate the feasibility of energy strategies.
Tool development
With the tools developed at the institute, we are able to answer questions about energy system designs and their optimization. In numerous research projects, we have gathered extensive technical know-how with which we can create and investigate a detailed image of existing or planned generation plants and renewable energy systems.
