Abstract — The growing number of vehicles with electrified powertrains on Germany's roads is placing increasing demands on power grids. The Reiner Lemoine Institute investigated different charging strategies that grid operators can use to absorb and equalize load peaks, and that make it possible for fleet operators to charge at favorable rates.
