Aakash Abraham has been a student assistant in the Research Unit Off-Grid Systems at RLI from July 2023 to Juni 2024. He is enrolled in the master’s degree program Public Policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. Aakash supported the team CP-Nigeria by examining diverse business models that can be integrated within community-led decentralized off-grid systems.
Aakash holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. As part of his Professional Year at the Hertie School, he did an internship with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, supporting a project on low carbon transport in China.

- Development of a multi-criteria analysis enabling communities to determine an appropriate business model for local DRE projects
