Mohamed has been a student assistant in the research field Transformation of Energy Systems from April 2017 until January 2018. He supported the open_eGo project and wrote his master’s thesis in distribution grid optimization. His work at RLI focused on the optimization between distribution network expansion versus energy storage systems in a scenario with a large share of renewable energy in Germany.
Mohamed was enrolled in the Energy Engineering Master’s program at TU Berlin Campus El Gouna and already studied Electrical Power and Machines Engineering at Helwan University in Egypt.
