Carlotta Montorsi worked as an intern in the RLI Research Unit Off-Grid Systems from March to August 2019. She was enrolled in the master's degree program Economics and Social Sciences at Bocconi University in Milan.
Carlotta supported an ongoing PhD research project, contributing to the development of the Inclusive Energy Access Planning Toolbox. Within the scope of her internship and Master thesis, Carlotta worked on methods to improve rural household energy demand modelling. Specifically, her aim was to examine the potential for applying a Bayesian approach on primary energy access survey data.
