Johann Kraft has been a student assistant in the Research Unit Off-Grid Systems at RLI from January to April 2024 and supported the project OptiMG. Previously, he had been a guest researcher in the same research unit since July 2023. He was studying in the master's program "Electrical Engineering - Energy Systems and Energy Economics" at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and was developing a methodology for modeling load profiles of small industrial consumers in mini-grids in his master's thesis.
Johann holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from KIT. Besides his studies, he is involved in a bicycle self-help workshop.
