Julia Brakel was a student assistant in Communications at RLI from October 2019 to the end of November 2021. She is studied in the master's degree program Gender, Intersectionality and Politics at the Free University in Berlin. Julia supported the team in the areas of web editing and the communication of research results.
Julia studied social and cultural anthropology and political science at the Free University of Berlin. During her studies she gained work experience in journalism and PR, climate issues and international energy politics in Ethiopia, Kenya and Morocco, among others for the Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa), the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung (hbs) and the GIZ GmbH.
