Verena is responsible for public relations at the RLI. She helps to communicate research findings in an understandable way and is jointly responsible for the RLI website. She trained at the Burda School of Journalism, worked in publishing for several years and then gained experience in press and public relations work, including at an NGO in the fields of development policy and humanitarian aid.
Verena holds a Magistra Artium degree in Cultural Anthropology, Spanish and American Studies from the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. During this time, she wrote articles for various print media as a freelancer.
