M.Eng. Building Technology and Energy Management (Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin)
Jannes joined RLI as a researcher in January 2016. Prior to that he worked as an energy electrician in the field for three years, gaining valuable practical work experience before studying Renewable Energy (B.Eng.) at the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. His bachelor studies were followed by a Master's program in Building Technology and Energy Management at Beuth University of Applied Sciences. Jannes worked at RLI as a student assistant beginning in May 2015 and supported the Mobility with Renewable Energies team as part of the Micro Smart Grid EUREF project. In his master's thesis research, he analyzed the potential of thermal preconditioning of electric vehicles.
