M.Sc. Energy and Sustainability Management (Politecnico di Milano)
Matteo was at RLI as a visiting researcher at RLI from April to June 2017. He worked on the oemof Open Energy Modelling Framework in order to develop a multi-node energy system model of Italy and to inspect the possibility to couple it to a Multi-Objective Evolutionary Algorithm.
In November 2015, Matteo has started a doctoral program in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology based on a collaboration between EURAC Research and Politecnico di Milano. His PhD project is titled: Renewable Energy High Penetration Scenarios Using Bottom-Up Modelling.
Matteo joined the regional energy modelling group at EURAC Research in 2014. The aim of the group is to develop renewable energy high penetration scenarios for the regional area in order to support the public administration in writing and updating of the provincial energy strategy.
Matteo holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a master’s degree in Energy and Sustainability Management, both from Politecnico di Milano.
