Researcher

Info

Sabine Haas has been a researcher in the Research Unit Transformation of Energy Systems at RLI from since October 2018. As project manager of the GRECO project, her focus is especially on open science approaches in photovoltaics research.

Sabine has already worked at RLI as a student assistant from November 2016 until April 2018. She worked in the open_FRED project, where she focused on feed-in time series of wind energy generators. She holds a master's degree in Renewable Energy Systems and a bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering and Process Engineering, both from TU Berlin. For her master’s thesis, Sabine developed a model for calculating feed-in time series of wind power plants, for her bacherlor’s thesis, she has been working with models and simulations of solar and wind energy generators in Python.
