Stefan Schirmeister has been a researcher in the Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy at RLI since April 2021. Previously, he had already been working in the same Research Unit as a student assistant since March 2020. He is enrolled in the master’s program Computer Engineering at the TU Berlin and is writing his master thesis about the change of program properties by means of approximate computing.
Stefan holds a bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering from TU Berlin. In his bachelor’s thesis, he analyzed various sensors for soft robot hands. After graduating, he spent a year in New Zealand.
Stefan accompanied the RLI spin-off Localiser from its foundation in autumn 2018 to the end of February 2020.
