Kathrin Goldammer elected board member of Women in Green Hydrogen

March 19, 2024 | RLI Managing Director Kathrin Goldammer has been a board member of Women in Green Hydrogen (WiGH) since February 16th 2024.  At an annual meeting in Berlin, the association members elected their first board of directors. Women in Green Hydrogen is an international network of women working in the hydrogen industry. Kathrin supports the association in political matters.

The organization has been a registered association in Germany since October 2023. The new board, of which Kathrin is now a member, replaces the previous interim board and has set itself fixed goals. These include raising funds to support the network financially and to expand and improve its own activities. In addition, new management structures are to be created to ensure an effective flow of communication between the existing and emerging teams in the local groups in Latin America, Africa and Europe, among others.

Since its foundation in 2020, in which Kathrin was involved, the international network has grown to around 8,000 women. With the new organizational form of the association, in which initially only the functionaries are organized, the community is to be given a fixed structure. The network brings together women from all over the world who are active in the hydrogen industry. The network’s vision is to achieve gender equality in the hydrogen industry. To achieve this, WiGH is working to increase the visibility of women working in this field and to amplify their voices. In addition to a database of female experts, there is also a mentoring programme, networking events and partnerships with organizations.

All board members and further information on WiGH can be found hier.
