Conference: Energy Modelling Platform – Europe 2018

The RLI supports the organization of this year’s Energy Modeling Platform for Europe conference (EMP-E 2018) as part of the REEEM project . The main organizer this year is the project SET-NAV.

The EMP-E was launched in 2017 as an annual series at the initiative of Horizon 2020 Advisory Group on Energy and is a European discussion platform for energy system modeling. The first conference in 2017 focused on the topics of the Energy Union, the Energy Transition, transparency, and the definition of scenarios. The 2018 conference will focus on integrating innovation, behavioral aspects, and energy and resource efficiency into energy system modeling.

The conference will take place at the European Commission in Brussels, Berit Müller , Head of the RLI Research Field Transformation of Energy Systems , chairs the Organizing Committee.
