Manuel Linsenmeier has been a student assistant in the research field Transformation of Energy Systems at RLI from September until November 2017. He is enrolled in the master's degree program Economics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In context of his work for the project open_ego, he wrote a thesis examining the cost of extending electricity networks at the distribution level in Germany. In his research, Manuel applied statistical learning methods.
Manuel holds master's degrees in Meteorology and Sustainability from the University of Hamburg and the University of Leeds. He also works for a thinktank and environmental policy consultancy.
