Michele Andreottola has joined RLI in June 2018 as an intern with the Off-Grid Systems team and worked there from September 2018 until the end of December 2019 as a student assistant. He was enrolled in the master’s program Economics and Social Sciences (ESS) at Bocconi University in Milan. Within the team, Michele supported an ongoing PhD research project, contributing to the development of the Inclusive Energy Access Planning toolbox. In particular, he provided econometric analysis to empirically investigate energy willingness to pay and energy demand through recently collected household surveys and observed data in Nepal. Michele was writing his master’s thesis in context of this project.
