Tim Ronan Britton was a student assistant in the Research Unit Off-Grid Systems at RLI from December 2020 until the end of July 2021. He was enrolled in the master's degree program Renewable Energy Systems at Technical University Berlin. In context of his work for the project “increasing climate resilience of islands in Southeast Asia”, he was writing a thesis about the integration of climate risks into energy system planning.
Tim holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the RWTH Aachen. Apart from his work at RLI, he was also involved in various creative projects.
