Workshop for the funding module WELMO

February 14th, 2019 | Berlin

Alexander Wanitschke, PhD candidate in the RLI Research Unit Mobility with Renewable Energy, participates as an expert in a workshop of the Berlin Senate on the 4th funding module of the guideline “Economic Electromobility” (WELMO)

The workshop takes place in the form of an interactive design thinking process. The guests will discuss the questions of what small and medium-sized enterprises need in addition to e-vehicles and charging infrastructure and how approaches to sector coupling can be implemented in the commercial sector.

The “Electromobility for the Economy” funding programme aims to electrify the commercial fleets in Berlin. The Senate Department for Economics, Energy, and Public Enterprises subsidizes the purchase of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure for Berlin companies. There is also an advisory service available. The RLI has recently become an authorized consulting fascility in the WELMO program.
